The title of this screen print by Shepard Fairey is a play on words referencing the “Flat Earth Society,” a science-denying group that genuinely believes the Earth is flat. It also alludes to climate change deniers who claim global warming is a hoax. The work is, of course, a critique by OBEY of fossil fuel companies that refuse to transition toward renewable energy sources.
