The Jaguar E-Type, presented in 1961, is one of the most iconic cars in automotive history. Revolutionary upon its release, it combined performance, design, and affordability, embodying English sports luxury. With its sleek lines, long hood, and streamlined profile, it was hailed by Enzo Ferrari as "the most beautiful car ever designed." Beneath its elegant bodywork lies advanced engineering for the time: independent suspension, disc brakes, and a 3.8-liter and later 4.2-liter inline-six engine, allowing it to reach approximately 240 km/h. Available as a coupé, convertible, and 2+2, the E-Type offered a sporty yet comfortable ride. It enjoyed great commercial and sporting success, becoming a symbol of the 1960s. Today, the Jaguar E-Type is a collectible icon, celebrated for its timeless aesthetics and its importance in automotive history.
