This character was created specifically for the window displays of Dior boutiques. The collaboration between KAWS and Dior gave rise to the famous Dior BFF figurine, released in limited-edition plush and vinyl versions. First presented during the Dior Homme Spring–Summer 2019 runway show, the BFF stood at the center of the podium, blending contemporary art with haute couture. The plush versions, available in pink and black, quickly became highly sought-after collector’s items. The vinyl version, about 33 cm tall, faithfully reproduces KAWS’s iconic features with a Dior twist. This collaboration symbolizes the unique intersection of street culture, design, and luxury.
