Vinyl figurine sculpture by the artist KAWS

Dimensions: 35.6 cm
In 2014, KAWS presented a new giant sculpture called Clean Slate during an exhibition at Harbour City in Hong Kong. It stood 7 meters tall and was, at the time, the largest sculpture the artist had ever made. He has since created much larger works. Clean Slate symbolized breaking with the past and moving toward a new stage in life. This monumental piece greatly contributed to increasing the artist’s recognition in Asia. When viewing the sculpture, one inevitably thinks of single-parent families or the many couples who separate, and, of course, the impact on their children. But it also evokes the loneliness and challenges of raising several young children alone.
