In 2019, KAWS installed a 40-meter-tall Companion sculpture in front of Mount Fuji as part of a temporary exhibition. It was displayed at the Fumotoppara Camping site. The KAWS Companion figure, in collaboration with AllRightsReserved, offered an immersive experience where art and nature interact. This installation greatly contributed to increasing KAWS’s recognition in Japan.
