For KAWS:HOLIDAY Space, COMPANION dons an astronaut suit and launches a weather balloon to an altitude of 41.5 kilometers, reaching the stratosphere. After achieving ultra-high speeds, COMPANION concludes the journey with a two-hour zero-gravity walk in uninhabited space before returning to Earth. The entire exploration process lasted about eight hours, including launch preparations, lift-off, and final landing.
The event was recorded with a 360-degree panoramic video camera, capturing this historic moment for COMPANION, celebrating its twentieth anniversary.
