BIOGRAPHY
Seny is a 20-year-old artist who has quickly made a name for himself in the contemporary art world thanks to his unique artistic vision. A graduate of the École Boulle and originally from Vitry-sur-Seine, he comes from two different cultural backgrounds. Seny is a very young and highly talented artist who has developed a style all his own. He blends different techniques to express his vision of the world. He enjoys combining spray paint and oil, as these are two mediums from very different artistic universes. This creates a contrast between the world of graffiti, often associated with spray paint, and the tradition of oil painting, used by the great masters of art.

Seny observes the world deeply to select his subjects and explores themes that are particularly dear to him. He had his first exhibition in 2022 at Iconoclastes Gallery in Paris. The exhibition, titled “All Kids Are Heroes”, paid tribute to children around the world, a subject close to his heart. His collaboration with the association Les Amis des Enfants du Monde reflects his commitment to social causes.
Seny’s artistic process is highly spontaneous. He does not make preliminary sketches and does not have specific colors in mind before starting. This approach allows him to paint freely, guided by inspiration, without constraints or limitations.

The artist draws inspiration from various fields, including fashion, design, music, and, of course, art. Artists such as Kaws, Daniel Arsham, Banksy, and Prince Gyasi have greatly influenced him. Music, particularly rap, also plays an important role in his creative process, serving as both motivation and inspiration.

Travel is another key element in Seny’s life. He sees his journeys not only as opportunities to discover new horizons but also as an endless source of inspiration. Encounters in places like Atlanta and Miami have enriched his experience and artistic vision.

Seny began his artistic journey in street art, which led him to work with a variety of media. At the age of 14, he put up his first stencil in his street—a portrait of the rap group 113—which is still visible today. After high school, he continued his studies at the prestigious École Boulle in Paris. His family, passionate about art and the creators of the Vitry Jam festival, supported Seny in exploring his first graphic experiences.
He is particularly fond of oxidized metal, using acids and heat to create unique effects. “I now consider oxidized metal to be an integral part of my work,” he says.

For Seny, art can exist both to convey a message and for its pure aesthetic beauty.
“I think art can take many forms and serve different purposes,” he explains.
He recognizes the diversity of art and the importance of appreciating beauty and form. Seny sees the artist as a vehicle for individual expression and freedom of speech. He believes that every artist has a unique role in society, influencing, inspiring, and challenging established norms.

Despite his young age, he is already making a significant impact in the art world. His ability to fuse different techniques, his spontaneous approach, and his commitment to social causes make him a notable figure in contemporary art.
