Inclusion – Confinement Bleu is part of the inclusion series in which Hom Nguyen captures emotion at the heart of the material. The artist traps his line within a transparent structure, creating a suspended face, frozen in a silent space-time. The deep, enveloping blue evokes distance, melancholy, and a sense of protection. The nervous, instinctive lines contrast with the rigidity of the medium, reinforcing the idea of inner tension. This work plays between transparency and opacity, chaos and restraint. With this inclusion, Hom Nguyen explores the notion of inner confinement — a state between radiance and entrapment.
