This sculpture depicts the Earth between two polar bears and symbolizes the fragility of our planet in the face of climate change. Iconic inhabitants of the Arctic regions, polar bears are directly threatened by the gradual melting of the sea ice. Framing the globe, they appear both to protect it and to remind us of the urgent need to preserve the natural balance of our environment. The sculpture thus combines the beauty of the natural world with a universal message: protecting our planet is a collective responsibility.
