Mosaic made of glass paste tiles in original blister, by Invader
Dimensions: 16 x 20 cm
Numbered out of 150 copies

Published in 2007, Invasion Kit #12 (Invader Kit number 12, IK12, "Home Moon") by street artist Invader was produced in 150 numbered but unsigned copies, as well as 50 numbered and signed copies. The 50 signed editions feature a silver marker signature on the front, along with another signature on the back. The Home Moon kit is made of glass-paste tiles.

Starting in the year 2000, the street artist Invader began selling ready-to-use invasion kits on his website. These are pre-assembled mosaics made of around one hundred tiles, packaged in protective anti-static bags, ready to be installed anywhere one wishes. The original intention was to allow anyone to take part in the invasion, giving everyone the possibility of having an Invader piece at home, in their street, or on their building. The kits even bear the phrase “Bonne invasion.”

However, because these invasion kits were produced in limited quantities, each with a unique identifying number—and some even signed by the artist—they have become collectible items whose value has steadily increased, especially over the past four or five years. As a result, very few have actually been installed in public spaces, and they now belong mainly to private collections.
